The Queen Inn & Restaurant in Depth

The Queen Inn and Restaurant has recently been extended into an adjoining property and now provides customers with a variety of room styles over several levels, including two elegant dining rooms, a Mediterranean style lounge with its own outdoor seating area as well as a traditional bar and lounge dating from the late 17th century.

Great Corby

A small picturesque village to the north of the beautiful Eden Valley in Cumbria, United Kingdom. Nestling above the eastern bank of a wooded gorge on the River Eden and directly across the river from the village of Wetheral. The two villages are linked by a magnificent railway viaduct (Corby Bridge, popularly known as 'Wetheral Viaduct'). This is on the Tyne Valley Line from Newcastle to Carlisle, which passes to the north of the village.
A good number of trains stop at the station at Wetheral and access to Great Corby and The Queen Inn is via a pedestrian footpath attached to the railway viaduct

Taking the train from the nearby city of Carlisle or the numerous towns east to Newcastle is a popular way to visit Great Corby And Wetheral, with many fine walks and good food and ales guaranteed makes an ideal day out. ( please use the links right to find out more information).
